November 19, 2006 - Hackensack, NJ: It has been 4 years since the insurgent Maine boys broke ranks with Northeast Passage Sled Hockey Team resulting in a sled hockey rivalry that is matched only by the UMO/UNH border war. Despite the fact that several of the players on both teams are teammates and the best of friends on the TD Banknorth New England Bruins Sled Hockey Team, when it comes to the Maine vs. New Hampshire sled hockey the jousting endures even though the balance of power in the games played since the mutiny has definitely been in Maine's favor. This weekend was no different when the Maine Sled Hockey Pirates keelhauled the Wildcats with a comfortable 5-0 victory over their pals.
The two team are scheduled to meet again on December 17 in Danbury, CT at the Prudential Northeast Sled Hockey League Game Day. Final Score: Pirates 5, Wildcats 0.
